Seafood Quenelle Recipe Bundle

Dhs. 211.90 Dhs. 249.90

Product: This Seafood Quenelle Recipe Bundle is perfect for seafood lovers. Enjoy the delicate taste and texture of pike quenelle and nature quenelle in a classic French recipe " Quenelles à la lyonnaise", accompanied by a delicious creamy seafood sauce as the famous "Nantua sauce" - ideal for creating a restaurant-quality meal at home.

Our quenelles are made in France by our producer Saint Jean. Made in the same way as a choux pastry, with butter or oil and wheat semolina, using traditional methods, the quenelle is a typical speciality of Rhône-Alpes gastronomy, appreciated for its authenticity.

➡ Ingredients:

For the Shrimp:
500g Argentinian Shrimp
¼ Clove of Fresh Garlic
20g Butter
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Lime

For the Sauce:
20cl of Raw Cream (1 cup)
30cl of Lobster Bisque (1.5cup)
White Pepper to taste
Salt to taste

➡ Instructions:

Cook the Shrimp:
1. De-vein the prawns and peel the shells off.
2. Chop the garlic and keep it aside.
3. In a thick-bottomed pan, melt butter and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
4. Once the oil is hot, fry the garlic.
5. Wait for the garlic to turn golden brown, place the prawns on the pan, and give the pan a quick shake.
6. Fry the prawns for less than 3 minutes on each side and switch off the flame. For bigger prawns cooking time could increase.
7. Take the fried prawns and place them in a bowl.
8. Squeeze a lime wedge or two to add a tangy note.
Note: Shrimp heads will add more flavor to your dish. If you don't like getting your hands messy while eating, get rid of the heads as well.

Prepare the Sauce:
1. Add prepared lobster Bisque. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer.
2. Stir in raw cream.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the Quenelles:
1. Preheat your oven for 5 minutes at 210 ° C.
2. Without thawing the quenelles, place them in a dish and coat them with the creamy lobster bisque.
3. Add the garlic shrimp to the dish.
4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 180 °C.
5. Serve immediately.
