The Master Butcher decided to use his grandmother's recipe and make his own Merguez at home, then make some for friends... then friends of friends… soon the demand was so great that he couldn’t keep pace.
100% natural, this Merguez is Halal, do not contain additives, preservatives or dyes.
Always take the Merguez out of the refrigerator at least one hour before cooking. Don't poke holes in them! They may lose their juice and become dry.
- Using a pan: Do not add any fat and allow about 15 minutes of cooking time, including the first 5 minutes on high heat
- Using a plancha: Allow 10 minutes of cooking for your Merguez, without any addition of fat.
- Using an oven: Preheat your oven and let your Merguez cook for 20 minutes, without adding fat.
- Using a barbecue: You must pay particular attention when you start cooking the Merguez as it should not come into too much contact with the flame. Be sure to flip them gently and frequently so as not to pierce them and avoid burning. Allow 10 minutes of cooking.
