Product: It’s delicious, super juicy and made from plants for people who love meat. The Impossible Burger recipe is a result of five years of researching exactly what makes meat taste like meat. The meaty flavor comes from a combination of natural ingredients, but mainly, it comes from “heme” — a molecule found in all living things that gives meat (and our product) its unmistakably meaty flavor.
The Impossible Burger is made from simple plant ingredients that people have been cooking with and eating safely for thousands of years: protein from potatoes, wheat and soy, and fat from coconuts. It also contains nutrients — vitamins, amino acids, simple sugars, minerals and iron — that are found in other healthy food we eat.
Producer: Impossible Foods makes delicious meat from plants, with a much smaller environmental footprint than meat from animals.
Cooking instruction: The truth is, if you know how to cook beef from cows, you know how to cook Impossible™ burger.
Gently place Impossible™ patties on a pre-heated surface and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until a slight sear has formed. Cook to desired internal temperature and serve.
Storage conditions : Frozen ; Impossible™ Burger defrosts a little slower than conventional beef. Simply place in the refrigerator for about 24 hours before you intend to use it. We do not recommend thawing Impossible Burger by immersing in water. Do not thaw and refreeze.
