Fleur d’Espelette is a small Tomme produced with ewe’s milk from Manech sheep.
This cheese is made near Espelette village, a Basque village famous for its chili. So it was very natural for the producer to add chili on this cheese. The aromas of this cheese are subtle yet powerful.
We recommend to eat this cheese during your apero in slices as a tapas or as a "flower”. You can also cut it in small cubes and add it in a tomato salad, it will bring a special spicy touch to your salad.
