Label Rouge Roast Chicken Bundle
Enjoy a classic family chicken roast with our Label Rouge Roast Chicken Bundle. This traditional Sunday lunch includes French Red Label free-range chicken for a juicy experience every time. Our chicken is bred to the highest standards, giving you a delicious and tender meal for you and your family or friends.
Serves: 5 - 7
Ingredients:
- 1.9 – 2kg Label Rouge Traditional Free range Chicken
- 350Gr Poultry Stuffing
- 1 lemon
- 50g butter
- 1kg baby new potatoes
Preparation:
1. Defrost the poultry stuffing naturally in a chiller 24 hours prior to preparing the meal.
2. Pre-heat the oven to 210° C.
3. Squeeze the lemon juice over the chicken and rub it into its skin.
4. Brush the melted butter over the chicken. Season with salt and pepper and place in a large oven dish.
5. Peel the potatoes and cut into 4.
6. Brown them in a little oil in a frying pan.
7. Arrange the potatoes around the chicken, add 15 cl of hot water.
8. Place in the oven and roast for 30 minutes.
9. Decrease the oven temperature to 190°C, turn over the chicken and baste with the juices, turn over the potatoes and put back into the oven for 45 minutes, basting regularly (about every 15 minutes). 5 minutes before serving place the chicken on a wooden cutting board and cover with a sheet of aluminum foil, leaving the potatoes in the oven.
10. Place the poultry stuffing in the oven 20 min prior to the roast chicken completion time.
11. Enjoy.
