Beet is a root vegetable, just like carrots and turnips. Rich in carbohydrates, its flesh offers good levels of vitamin B9, minerals and fiber. We love it in salad with fresh goat cheese and walnuts.
How to cook beetroot:
- Wash the beets, do not remove the peel.
- Cook the beets for about 30 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the beets
- Rinse the vegetables under cold water, the skin will come off easily if it is well cooked
- Season to taste!
